GAIL A. BURKE, CPAM
Gail is a Six Sigma certified, excellence-driven professional with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry. Her expertise spans revenue cycle program development/management, practice administration, process reengineering, finance/accounting, compliance, and clinical nursing. Gail has secured and managed revenue cycle contracts with more than 25 hospitals and physician group practices throughout the US. She has served in senior leadership roles for multi-hospital health systems and financial service providers. Throughout her career, Gail has spearheaded operating initiatives that have consistently improved patient/customer satisfaction, reduced costs and maximized cash flow. Well-versed in compliance regulations, payer reimbursement, and best practice benchmarking, she is also proficient in MS Office and a wide range of Hospital and Practice Management Information Systems. Gail’s highly organized management style coupled with her solid decision making, oral/written communications, and problem solving skills have helped her to develop a proven track record in leading and motivating teams, driving multiple projects and meeting demanding timelines. Gail began her health care career as an operating room nurse. She is a two- time recipient of the National President’s Award from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
